In a concert celebrating composer Arnold Schoenberg’s 150th anniversary, the Ciompi Quartet performs a program of works connected by time and place: works by Schoenberg, W.A. Mozart, and Erich Wolfgang Korngold.
The Ciompi Quartet performs at the National Gallery in Washington, D.C. in a program that explores how Native American melodies and uplifting African American spirituals influenced the music of beloved Czech composer Antonín Dvořák.
